At Silverband Lodge, we believe every student should experience the joy of the great outdoors. For many, our Residential Camps mark their first time away from home, a chance to build independence, make new friends, and discover confidence through adventure. Nestled in the heart of the Grampians (Gariwerd) National Park, students enjoy comfortable accommodation, nourishing meals, and a variety of fun outdoor activities facilitated by our friendly camp staff and teachers.

At Silverband Lodge, our Residential Camps offer the perfect introduction to outdoor education and group adventures for Year 3 to Year 12. Whether it’s a first-time camp or a chance to reconnect with nature, students enjoy comfortable lodge accommodation, nourishing meals, and guided activities that build confidence, connection, and teamwork. Silverband Lodge is also a popular choice for music and sports groups, providing open spaces and excellent facilities for creativity and collaboration.
We specialise in hosting a wide range of programs, including outdoor education camps, orientation experiences, pastoral retreats, music and sports camps, journey-based expeditions, and Duke of Edinburgh programs.

Located in Halls Gap, Silverband Lodge offers easy access to some of Victoria’s most iconic natural attractions. Many schools choose to combine their stay with excursions to the Grampians National Park, exploring places like The Pinnacle, Venus Baths, or Boronia Peak Trail. At Silverband Lodge, flexibility is at the heart of every stay. With two main lodges, Wonderland and Pinnacle, and an exclusive private campground, groups can create their ideal accommodation setup.
From small gatherings to full-venue bookings, you can configure 32 rooms across both lodges to suit groups of 15 to 232 guests, with options for camp-outs for larger groups. Each room includes a private ensuite and the option for king bedding. Choose fully-catered or self-catered meal options, with access to commercial kitchens and dining facilities. Wonderland
Wonderland offers comfortable group accommodation with 116 beds across 16 ensuite rooms, all accessible via internal corridors – meaning guests don’t have to go outside to reach their rooms. It’s a favourite for groups who appreciate the convenience of being entirely under one roof. Guests have access to shared facilities including a dining and recreation room, and multiple lounge or meeting areas. Stays in Wonderland are typically fully catered.
Pinnacle
Pinnacle provides spacious accommodation for up to 116 guests across 16 ensuite rooms arranged around a common courtyard. This design creates a relaxed, communal feel, with guests stepping out of their rooms into a shared outdoor space. It includes access to a commercial kitchen, large dining and recreation room, a lounge, and undercover outdoor BBQ area. Stays at Pinnacle are typically fully catered, with a self-catered option available for weekend and holiday groups.
