Family Camp Weekend Program
Spend less time on screens and more time together at Silverband Lodge. Across the weekend, families can explore the Grampians, try new adventures, enjoy shared meals, gather around the campfire and make new friends. With plenty of opportunities to connect, play and discover, Family Camp is all about creating memorable experiences together.
Settle In and Start Making Memories
Arrive from 4:00pm, settle into Silverband Lodge and take some time to get familiar with your home for the weekend. Families can check in, unpack and sign up for the activities they would like to enjoy over the coming days, before easing into the relaxed camp atmosphere and meeting other families.
At 6:00pm, everyone comes together for a welcome dinner before the first evening of activities begins. From 7:30pm, enjoy family-friendly activities and time around the campfire, with plenty of opportunities to chat, laugh and connect. It’s an easy-going start to the weekend and a chance to begin making memories from the moment you arrive.
Dive Into Adventure and Family Fun
Saturday begins with breakfast at 8:00am before a full day of adventure. From 9:00am to 12:00pm, families can take part in morning activity sessions, with plenty of opportunities to try something new, spend time outdoors and enjoy the natural surroundings. After a well-earned lunch at 12:30pm, there’s time to recharge before the afternoon program begins.
From 2:00pm to 5:00pm, the adventure continues with another round of activity sessions. Whether you’re looking for action, teamwork or time in nature, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Dinner is served at 6:00pm, followed by trivia, games and campfire fun from 7:30pm, the perfect way to finish a big day together.
Soak Up the Final Moments Together
Enjoy one final breakfast together at 8:00am before heading into the last morning of activities. From 9:00am to 12:00pm, families can make the most of their remaining time at Silverband Lodge with another session of outdoor adventures, shared challenges and opportunities to explore, connect and enjoy the Grampians surroundings.
Lunch is served at 12:30pm, giving everyone one last chance to gather together before the weekend comes to a close. Departure is from 2:00pm, with families heading home after a weekend filled with new experiences, fresh air, laughter and time spent together, along with plenty of memories to look back on.

Rock Climbing
Experience the Grampians world-class rock climbing! Develop strength, flexibility, and trust as you scale vertical rock faces in the great outdoors.
High Ropes
Tackle hands on climbing challenges up in the canopy. A ropes adventure that tests balance, focus, and problem-solving above the ground.
Camp Fire
Share stories and songs around the fire pit. A fun social experience that brings groups together.
Bushwalking
Enjoy world-class day walks through forests, waterfalls and reach spectacular views offered from mountaintop peaks. Discover the great outdoors together!
Abseiling
Descend natural cliffs under the supervision of our expert guides. Build courage, trust, and confidence while taking in stunning bushland views from the rock face.
Canoeing
Paddle on the lake in a canoe, and have a splashing good time out on the waters.

Channel your inner Robin Hood! Learn technique, sharpen focus, and enjoy the thrill of hitting the target in a scenic outdoor range.
Bush Cooking
Gather around the fire to cook damper and share stories. A hands-on bush experience that’s fun, tasty, and memorable.
Map Reading
Learn to orientate and read a map! Develop useful navigation skills while exploring and uncovering hidden messages across the camp.
Bike Riding
Ride the trails with an instructor. Build confidence and bike handling skills while exploring the local area.
