What is Residential Camp?
At Cave Hill Creek, no matter if camp is your first time away from home or you are an experienced camper, we provide a supportive and engaging environment. Campers sleep in shared cabins or Glamping tents. Residential Camp outdoor activity programs can be facilitated by our trained camp staff, or teacher led. All meals are provided. We happily cater for all dietary requirements. Facilities are available for campers with special needs. Just bring your personal items and a sense of adventure.

Residential Camps at Cave Hill Creek are suitable for students from Year 3 to Year 12. They’re also a popular choice for school music groups and sports teams, offering a perfect mix of comfort, connection, and adventure.

Sovereign Hill & Ballarat School Camps
Being just a 45 minute drive from Ballarat, many schools choose to combine a school camp at Cave Hill Creek with an Australian History excursion to the famous Sovereign Hill, and the popular ‘Aura’ sound and light show. A visit to the Ballarat Wildlife Park to meet “Crunch” the croc, koala, tassie devils, wombats and more is also popular.
