Information for parents

Sorry but Summer Camp is not for you! Perhaps you have to work over the summer break, know from personal experience growing up how great summer camp is, or simply cannot take the kids for a holiday. Camps are a great way to have fun and make friends.

We are experienced and qualified camp specialists, Quality Tourism accredited and Australian Tourism Award winners. Hosts Tim & Ange Chandler are a second-generation camp family running Cave Hill Creek, Australia’s best camp.

Summer Camp is tech-free, we get your kids off the couch, have fun and activate their minds and bodies over the school break. With nearly 40 years’ experience running fun and safe camps, we ensure your child is supported and cared for whilst under our supervision. A culture of child safety is central to everything we do. All staff have valid working with children checks.

We foster inclusive, friendly and safe camp communities. The food is healthy and nutritious (all dietary requirements welcome), and all set in our amazing location, home to kangaroos, wallabies, echidnas and platypus, at the foot of Mount Buangor National Park, only 2 hours from Melbourne, near Ballarat in regional Victoria, Australia.

She’s home and she’s so, so happy.

She can’t wait to get back. I’d like to thank the entire team for their hard work, their dedication to the kids, specially little ones like my girl. Thank you for the gorgeous photos, the updates, the delicious food, and the kindness you give. I’m impressed with the care you showed to me, as a parent, through communication and reassurance, and towards my girl, through encouragement and patience.
