The recently opened Wildlife Art Museum of Australia (WAMA) is Australia’s first space dedicated to the exploration of environmental art. Set on 16 hectares just outside Halls Gap, WAMA features a major indoor gallery space – the National Centre for Environmental Art, plus native gardens, café, and education centre. The first exhibition looks at climate change through some really creative and thought-provoking art — a fun and meaningful way for visitors to explore nature, science and the arts all in one go.
Leighton and Fee from Silverband Lodge recently checked out WAMA — and we’re excited to report it’s a great new option for school and group excursions! Add a visit to next camp or group itinerary. It certainly offers something a bit different, educational, and memorable.
Keen to include WAMA in your next visit? Just let us know — we’d be happy to help!
If you know someone who’s passionate about working with young people and enjoys creating memorable experiences, our Holiday Camp Director role could be a great fit. The role is advertised now on Seek, and we’d love your help in spreading the word. Feel free to pass this along to anyone in your network who might be interested.
