Our camp programs focus on developing a child’s love for the outdoors through challenging and fun activities – from canoeing, abseiling, mountain biking and ropes courses, to archery, hut and raft building, bushwalks, orienteering, bush cooking and much more!
Camp is an important place for students to build life skills, relationships (both with their peers and teachers), independence and resilience. Our award-winning camp programs are catered towards cultural and indigenous awareness, environmental consciousness and sustainability. Our school camp program outcomes can be mapped to VELS to help schools meet their curriculum needs.
Being just a 45 minute drive from Ballarat, many schools chose to combine a school camp at Cave Hill Creek with a visit to Ballarat’s popular ‘Blood on the Southern Cross’ light and sound show as part of the famous Australian History excursion to Sovereign Hill.
Cave Hill Creek is ATAP accredited as required by the Department of Education. Contact us today for further information or enquiries; we would love to talk to you further about your camp needs.
