Short walks With Mt Cole right on our doorstep let’s lace up the shoes and go exploring. Lush fern gullies, granite outcrops, abundant native birdlife, and the rare Mt Cole Grevillea await you in this secret corner of Victoria. These walks will suit a range of hikers no matter what your level of fitness, or experience.
The Beeripmo Walk is a superb 17km trail that traverses the peaks of the Mount Cole range. Named after the local Beeripmo Balug Aboriginals, who refer to their home as Beereep-Beereep – meaning “wild mount” walkers are rewarded with commanding vistas of the surrounding basalt plains and Grampians. Tackle it a day, or enquire about a guided overnight walk.
